Summary

Atrium is an Apple TV player that connects to the media server you run. There is no Atrium service in between: the app talks to your server directly and sends your data nowhere else.

What is stored, and where

Everything Atrium stores stays on your Apple TV:

• Your server address — in the device Keychain, so you don't have to type it again.
• Session token (not your password) — in the Keychain, so you aren't asked for the password every time.
• Your account name and picture from the server — in the Keychain, to show whose session is whose.
• App preferences (playback quality, automatic next episode) — in the app's local storage.

Your password is never stored. It is sent once to your server to sign in, and what is kept is the token the server returns.

The audio and subtitle language preferences are not stored in the app: they live in your server account, which shares them with its other clients.

What leaves the device

Only what is needed to talk to your server: content requests, images, and the playback reporting your server itself uses to know where you are. Atrium has no servers of its own, no analytics, no ads and no third-party SDKs that collect anything.

To find servers on the local network, the app sends a discovery message inside your network. Nothing leaves it.

Usage data and tracking

None. Atrium does not collect advertising identifiers, does not track you across apps, and shares nothing with third parties. There are no Atrium accounts.

Content

What you watch is what is on your server. Atrium does not host it, index it outside your server, or copy it anywhere.

Children

The app is not directed at children and asks them for nothing. What content exists is decided by whoever administers the server.

Deleting everything

Signing out from Settings removes the token and the account data from the device. Deleting the app removes the rest.
